Hal G. Nickel of Brookfield died April 16, 2009, at age 85.

He was a devoted member of the Bahá'í faith.

He is survived by his wife, Vera (nee Colletti); daughter, Kim (Robert) Maehler of Pewaukee; grandson, Jon; niece and nephew, Cynthia (Marc) Perlick-Flewelling and Brian (Dayle) Hubanks; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn (Gordon) Perlick and Joyce Hubanks Nennert; and brother-in-law, Gordon Perlick.

Service was April 21 at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, Brookfield.

Memorials are suggested.

Becker Ritter Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
