David Lawrence Kluge

David Lawrence Kluge of Brookfield died April 3, 2009, at age 76.

He earned an engineering degree through Marquette University and in 1998 was named the engineer of the year. He was a devoted member of his community and his church, serving on the Christ the King Lutheran Church Council and as a Cubmaster for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane Kluge (nee Larsen); children, Debra (Edward) Trochlell of Colgate, Mark (Kathy) Kluge of Hartford, Daniel Kluge of Brookfield, Dawn (Robert) Baumann of Brookfield, and Matthew (Annette) Kluge of Waukesha; grandchildren, Andrew (Julie), Angela and Aaron Trochlell, John, Joseph, Clare and Amanda Baumann, Kimberly and Cody Kluge, Ben and Holly Kluge, and Zachary and Morgan Kluge; other relatives and friends.

The service was held April 7. Graveside services were at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Becker Ritter Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
