Katherine Boettcher and Michael Quinlan were married Aug. 23, 2008, at First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa.

Parents of the bride are Mark and Susan Boettcher, Brookfield. Parents of the groom are Timothy and Jane Quinlan, Rogers, Minn., and Daniel Erikstrup and Mary Quinlan, Eagan, Minn.

The Rev. Steven Peay officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, Milwaukee.

The bride wore a strapless, silk satin ball gown with hand-embroidered beading and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of gardenias, pale pink roses and hydrangeas.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Kaczka, Crystal Lake, Ill., friend of the bride. Matron of honor was Amanda Treasure, Crown Point, Ind., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Thiel, Milwaukee; Mary Cascio, London; Lana Landini, Memphis, Tenn.; and Meghan Quinlan, St. Paul, Minn.

Best man was Darrik Erikstrup, Eau Claire, stepbrother of the groom. Groomsmen were William Boland, Warrensburg, Mo.; David Aamodt, New Orleans; Thomas Kramer, Minneapolis; Michael Woods, Indianapolis; and Robert McKee Jr., Summerville, S.C.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree from Purdue University. She is a marketing analyst for Fingerhut Direct Marketing.

The groom also earned his bachelor's degree from Purdue University. He is a business analyst for Marquette Funding.

The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Ireland and London. They reside in Richfield, Minn.
