· Brooke and Patrick Behrendt of Brookfield are the parents of Lucas James Behrendt, born April 26, 2013, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls. He was 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and 21.5 inches long. He joins sister Taylor, 7.

· Kyla and David Robinson of Brookfield are the parents of Ryan James Robinson, born May 31, 2013, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls. He was 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and 19.5 inches long. He joins brother Luke, 2.


·Aaron Schwei of Brookfield earned his bachelor's degree in business administration summa cum laude from the University of San Diego, Calif. He was elected to Beta Theta Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies, and he became a member of USD's Alcala 100. He also was a founding member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on his campus. He will study law at the University of Virginia.

·Rebekah Fiorenza of Brookfield earned a bachelor's degree in social work, magna cum laude, from Northern Michigan University in Marquette in May.

· The following students made the spring semester dean's list at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee: from Brookfield, Fatemeh Arassi, Michelle Argenzio, Christine Gill, Katie Kozlowski and Christine Kugler; from Elm Grove, Lauren Kidd, Cynthia Kidd, Taylor Majewski and Camille Ross.

·Courtney Nussbaumer of Brookfield made the spring semester dean's list at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.

·Micah DeLong and Emily Higgins of Brookfield made the spring semester dean's list at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

· The following students from Brookfield made the spring semester dean's list at the University of Dayton in Ohio: Kelly Coakley, Joseph Schlater, Paul Stamas, Andrew Wolfla and Sondra Wozniak.


·Tom Wester of Brookfield made the spring superintendent's list at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Additionally, he was a member of the academy's varsity offshore sailing team, aboard the Navy's sloop Integrity, which won its class in the Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race.

· Army Pvt. Brandon J. Miller has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Miller, the son of Steve Miller of Milwaukee and grandson of Cheryl Uraney of New Berlin, is a 2012 graduate of Brookfield Central High School.
