Marjanae Zerehi and Nathan Kalstad of Farmington, Minn., were married May 26, 2012, at Brookfield Congregational Church.
Parents of the bride are Maureen Denny and Robert Lundquist and Shahrokh Zerehi and Sofy Zerehi of Elm Grove. The groom's parents are Deborah and Gary Kalstad of Farmington.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Elm Grove Woman's Club.
The bride wore a Maggie-Sottero Anniston gown and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.
Rose Vlaisavljevich and Emily Hawkins, college friends of the bride from the Twin Cities, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Katrice Battle of Milwaukee, Michaela Bille of Rochester, Minn., and Jennifer Kalstad of Farmington.
Chad Curry of Chatfield, Minn., cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Stephan of Rosemount, Minn., Jeff Chous of Shoreview, Minn., Zach West of Lakeville, Minn., and John Prichard of the Twin Cities.
Claire Lundquist of Minneapolis, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Shane Curry of Chatfield, second cousin of the groom, was ring bearer.
The bride earned her degree in sociology of the family from Winona State University in Minnesota. She is a primary counselor with Home and Community Options.
The groom earned his degree in allied health, also from Winona State University. He is a specialist in the U.S. Army, a job that will take the couple to Mississippi.
The couple planned a 10-day honeymoon in Montana.
The two met at WSU in 2007 through mutual friends. On May 21, 2011, Nathan took Marjanae on a picnic at their favorite park and proposed.
