Alison Faulkner of Brookfield earned her bachelor's degree in elementary teacher education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in December.

Kristina Dolney of Brookfield made the fall semester dean's list at Ithaca College in New York.

George Duarte of Elm Grove made the fall semester dean's list at Maryville University of St. Louis in Missouri.

Student athletes Bethany Lonski and Justin Lonski of Brookfield earned honors for the fall semester at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss.

Alaina Badgerow, Ryan Williams and Andrea Wirtz of Brookfield made the fall semester dean's list at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.

SERVICENEWS

Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Robert M. Spicer is returning to joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after being deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Spicer is a multichannel transmission systems operator and maintainer with the 422nd Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Las Vegas, Nev. He has served 12 years in the military. The son of Kathryn Becker of Waupaca, he is a 1999 graduate of Brookfield East High School.
