Danielle Durso and Paul Larsen of New Orleans, La., were married June 25, 2011, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill.

Parents of the bride are Carmen and Laura Durso of Belleville. The groom's parents are Wayne and Debra Larsen of Elm Grove.

The Rev. Clyde Grogan officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Ritz Carlton in Clayton, Mo.

The bride wore an ivory lace trumpet-style V-neck by Yvonne LaFleur of New Orleans. She carried a bouquet of orchids and ivory roses.

Katie Goelz of St. Louis, Mo., friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Califano of Bernardsville, N.J., Meghann Fogarty of Baltimore, Md., Michelle Glass of Chicago and Sara Lange of Arlington, Va.

Adelia Good and Kate Jost, second cousins of the groom, were flower girls.

Evan Larsen of St. Louis, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Arias of St. Louis, Kyle Durso of Belleville, Chris Lange of Arlington and Sean Riley of Belleville.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006 and her master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago in 2008. She is a human resources business consultant with Oschner Health System in New Orleans.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in earth and planetary sciences and paleobiology from Washington University in 2006 and he is a fourth-year medical student at Tulane University in New Orleans.

The couple honeymooned for 10 days in Maui, Hawaii.

The two were introduced by their now-married friends and wedding attendants Chris and Sara Lange during their junior year at Washington University. They became engaged Jan. 2, 2010, on the school's campus.
