Joanne Beyer and Landen Rentmeester of Grand Rapids, Mich., were married May 28, 2011, at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Brookfield.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Mary Beyer of Brookfield. Parents of the groom are Lee and Lisa Rentmeester of Suamico.
The Rev. John Horner-Ibler officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Grain Exchange in Milwaukee.
The bride wore a Pronovias ivory trumpet gown with a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of orchids, ivory roses and stephanotis.
Leslie Stierman of Boston, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Paula Cody of Brookfield and Lacey Rentmeester of Burlington.
Lucas Rentmeester of Milwaukee, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Logan Rentmeester of Suamico and Matt Beyer of Brookfield.
The bride earned her doctorate in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 2011.
The groom earned his doctorate in medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in May 2009. He is an emergency medicine resident at Butterworth Hospital, a teaching affiliate of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
The couple planned a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
