The Bucks Library Reading Challenge!

Want to win a ticket to see the Milwaukee Bucks? Then take the Bucks Library Reading Challenge!

Beginning on January 2, 2009, children in third through tenth grade can read books, magazines, or newspapers in order to win a ticket to see the Milwaukee Bucks. The ticket won is good for either the game on Friday March 13th at 7:30 pm against New Orleans OR the game on Saturday March 21st at 7:30 pm against the Portland Trailblazers. You get to pick! In addition, all readers and their guests will have the opportunity to shoot a free throw on the Bucks Court after both games!!!

You score a point for reach page that you read, and once you score 500 points you are now an All-Star Reader and will earn a free Bucks ticket! There is a 100-point limit on reading magazines and newspapers, but no limit on reading books.

But don't stop at 500 points! Children who read more than 750 pages and report the total number of pages read to his/her librarian by Monday February 23rd will have their names entered into a drawing for an official Milwaukee Bucks Autographed Basketball for each game; 20 randomly selected children will participate in the Milwaukee Bucks Halftime High Five Tunnel for each game; 20 randomly selected children will participate in the Bucks Kourtside Kids for each game; and 10 randomly selected children will be recognized on-court at halftime for each game!!!

All reporting must be done by Monday February 23rd in order to receive your free Bucks ticket voucher. Each voucher is valid only when the All-Star Reader is accompanied by an adult 18-years or older to their chosen game.

So come to the reference desk beginning January 2nd to receive your reading scorecard and rules sheet. And good luck!
