Coming up: Analog to digital? - What's going on?
Mark your calendars! The Brown Deer Public library will be hosting an informational program about the digital TV transition on Wednesday evening, September 24th from 6:30-7:30 PM. John Kuzma, Field Agent for the Federal Communications Commission, will be discussing such topics as:- Why are broadcast TV stations switching to all-digital?
- How will the transition affect cable and satellite service?
- Is my TV analog or digital?
- Will my analog TV still work?
- Will my VCR still work?
- The converter box $40 coupon program
To register: call the Library at 357-0106 or stop by the reference desk by the end of business day (8:30 PM) on Monday September 22nd. Don't let your television go dark after February 17, 2009.
