EBHS Unleashed

Staff and volunteers of the Elmbrook Humane Society will be blogging about what's going on at the society, as well as other observations about life in Wisconsin.

The mission of the Elmbrook Humane Society is to promote the human-animal bond through adoption and education, to provide shelter to homeless animals, and to prevent animal cruelty and neglect. EBHS services the city of Brookfield, the villages of Butler, Chenequa, Elm Grove and Nashotah, and the towns of Brookfield and Delafield. EBHS shelters unwanted pets and strays, and rescues injured domestic animals and wildlife, provides resources for individuals with companion animals and provides Humane Education to schools and civic groups.

Once again our shelter in inundated with kittens of all sizes and shapes.

There are big kittens, small kittens and in between size kittens. There are black kittens, white kittens, orange kittens, blond kittens, grey kittens, beige kittens and multicolored kittens.

There are kittens with spots, kittens with stripes and kittens with crazy patterns on their fur.

There are shy kittens, outgoing kittens, lazy kittens and just plain silly kittens.

There are kittens that like to play and kittens that prefer to sleep.

There are talkative kittens, quiet kittens and kittens that purr like a “Harley”.

There are all kinds of kittens. However they are not alone.  In addition to all the kittens we also have Momma cats, Daddy cats and Grandma and Grandpa cats and they all have one thing in common. They all are dreaming of a forever home and you may just be the answer to their dream.
