Brookfield City Clerk to retire mid-August
City of Brookfield Clerk Kristine Schmidt will call August 19th her last day. She's finally going to enjoy a retirement.

The only meeting this week is the Sister Cities Commitee on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. No agenda was provided, nor is there one on the city's website.
Elmbrook School Board's leaky excuses
So the big deal at Elmbrook right now is that $1 million in necessary high school roof repairs were not included it the $60 million plus updates that were just done. If you are to believe this article at least two school board members, two who were also on the board and pushed for the referendum, are surprised the administration didn't bring the need up back when they were discussing the original bonding.
