Bucks looking good
Your Milwaukee Bucks are the toast of the town and the NBA. Why? Well to begin they lost their 2 best players, Michael Redd, early in the season, and Andrew Bogut right before the playoffs. For another team this would be the end of the season. But a smart front office and a hungry coach for a winner made them shake it off and play basketball.
The front office made a deal of deals to obtain an all star type guard and the coach made the team play like they were really friends.
The playoffs bring excitement and publicity back to us and a high level of basketball. Now the Milwaukee Bucks are a team and a franchise to listen up to.
It is not easy in the game of high salaries, higher expenses and higher expectations to become a premier team.
It also is not easy to entice hot shot players to live here in a relatively small environment. Not many NBA players will come here toattend summerfest.
I happen to be a Milwaukee guy who grew up with the old AAA Brewers, the first NBA team , the Milwaukee Shooting Stars, the state fair park Green Bay Packers and the first ladies baseball team.
Watch your Milwaukee Bucks compete.

Flash! The Brewers usually start the season strong and then die as we go along. This year they start as if their pitching is dead...and it is...and we will have nothing to cheer about all season. Even if they hit, they can't overcome the number of runs their pitchers are giving up.

Flash.......Brewers win over Cubs desipite a raging sun not kind to Corey Hart. When we were kid catching the ball in the sun was normal. Besides having problems with hitting now Mr. Hart has problems catching. He had all winter to figure out his game. in fact he had half the summer because of a health issue. now it makes sense that Mr.Hart who came to the bigs as a 3rd baseman, tried center field and became a right fielder has no place in the major leagues. very seldom have i said this about a brewer but if he cannot field, then he cannot replace Fielder at 1st base. Mr. Hart's new salary of some 3 million yr. is not justified nor is his carefree attitude. thanx to a 1 yr contract the brewers can bench him for Jim Edmonds, a 39 yr old gold glover and be better off. look at Ryan Braun. Tough and dedicated he was put in the outfield and may be headed for the Hall of Fame. Ryan is a bad ball hitter but so was Yogi Berra.let me add that the longest throw in baseball is from right field to third base. Corey can't do it.

BD. Excellent answer. My question now is: Mort Cooper, pitcher, and Walker Cooper, St.Louis Cards, played together, and very well. any other brothers in those positions ? Paul Dean and Dizzy Dean, pitchers, also with st. louis cards, but not battery mates.

Brewers may need 10 runs to win unless pitching improves. hanging on to Suppan is a big mistake.
Packers to sign Westbrook to run to daylight. Mabe Horning has one more year left too.
Who was the Milwaukee Brave that won championships as both a baseball and basketball star?
Answer: Gene Conley, pitcher and Boston Celtic.
he could not join the Braves until June when the basketball playoffs were over.

Felipe, Matty and Jesus Allou all played at the same time for the same team '63 Giants
And Jose (Blue Jays), Jadier (Cards) and Bengie (Giants) Molina - all active right now.
And I think the Boyers (3 brothers), Delahanty (5) and Edwards (3) may also fall into the same time, if not same team categories as well!
