ELECT PONTO FOR MAYOR

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 6, is the day residents of the City of Brookfield will elect their own CEO. The taxpayers are the final word on who will determine the future development, the future tax structure and the leader in charge of your money.

We all want the same thing, low taxes, a safe place to live , good judgment  and sound independent decisions.

We are entitled to a full time Mayor who has no outside business interests to attend to while on the job.

My personal vote is for STEVE PONTO.

  1. Keep the lawyers away from our health care, but let 'em run our cities!
  2. Elfie, did you mean "pirate"? How about "pilot"? How about "prelate"?
  3. PONTO FOR OUR PILATE!!!
  4. Hey, who are you calling a nut? ;)

I thought it might be light. I did hear absentee was moderate, though, so maybe it's not as bad as it seems.
  5. Seems like light turnout. I certainly hope all the nuts on these blogs aren't voting!
  6. 2 votes for Mr. Ponto from our household. He actually stopped at the house to ask for our votes, which is a first in a mayoral race in the 15 years we've been living here.
We are believers in well educated elected officials.
  7. El gato: you got some of that right. (I don't know how you deduced that from my earlier post.) But I don't recall a flat tire...

I'll be voting and checking the news later this evening.
  8. RC. for all to know. no reason for double entry. im not a computer analyst, nor is the mayor a government analyst.

Cindy. yes he did. no candidate made an issue of it.
  9. Mr. Steinberg, I'd forgotten about Mayor Jeff Speaker listing the address at City Hall as the official one for his apartment building business. That was absolutely the case, and you're right, there are several ways to document the fact.

Folks can read more about it here: http://fairlyconservative.com/2008/06/21/brookfield-mayor-jeff-speaker-continues-to-squirm-under-scrutiny/
  10. Let's just take a look at the education back ground of both candidates. I don't undersatnd how how this is even a race.
    For a better Brookfield......VOTE PONTO
