A Downhill Day
I'm such a mess in disarray:
I had a very,
Downhill day.
Airborne over glacial jumps;
Bouncing over,
Icy bumps.
Spinning round without control;
Concluding with,
A barrel roll.
Snowy white from head to toe;
Sledding over,
Well-packed snow.
The hill was tall. The run was swift.
(The climb was rough;
No tow...no lift)
Today my childlike joy did wake.
Tomorrow I will,
Surely ache.
