Ronda Larkin is a common mom with uncommon poetic perspectives.
Stuck here, I can't navigate. Such rushing is at hand.
My route's become impossible;
The traffic's at a stand.
Many are impatient, maneuvering their vehicles.
While others stalled in driving lanes,
Are posing adverse obstacles.
This "jam" is overwhelming. It's riddled with frustration.
Hungry and exhausted, now,
I'm tense with aggravation.
I wish I had a chocolate bar...TODAY I'LL NEED TO SPLURGE.
I'll grab one at the check-out,
Where these shopping carts all merge.
