Filling the Void
I prefer to start on laundry when the day is dawning;
Detergent and a bit of bleach,
With intermittent yawning.
Meals are a process, which last throughout the day;
Repeating "prep" and clean-up,
Then dishes, put away.
When I find a little break, a moment without pressure;
I fill it with a gapping chore,
Which makes our space much fresher.
Eliminating particles will fill my voids of time:
The emptying of dust and dirt;
Vacuuming the grime.
