LET US BE POSITIVE
The lyrics of the song "Let's accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative , and don't mess with Mr. in-between", has been reminding me of days once forgotten but ever remembered by me.
In today's American society the negative has become more popular because it cannot be proven The positive is based on the facts and need not be proven.

Having lived in the City of Brookfield for nearly one-half of my life my thoughts reflect on Days
Gone By.
My immediate reaction when I bought a vacant lot almost 37 years ago was the vast open space in a natural environment away from the big city. I grew up at 2019 W. State St. in a lower flat with a perfect view of the street car tracks and the traffic.
