The Snooze Alarm
It's true! I don't want to get up today.
It's cloudy and rainy,
With dark skies of gray.
Though needing to get myself out the door,
My feet are not anxious,
To feel the cold floor.
With squinty eyes, and mind dull and hazy,
I find it is true;
Today I feel lazy.
But, resting too long? Frustration it brings;
Our pet wanting breakfast,
Alarmingly sings!
