Ronda Larkin is a common mom with uncommon poetic perspectives.
It's just a little drizzle; I can walk for exercise.
The drops will be refreshing:
I'll ignore, those darkened skies.
I think it's raining harder; I'll quicken up my pace.
Though, sandals aren't the greatest choice;
They'll do, for this short race.
I'm not sure where I'm going, now; The path is hard for me.
With raindrops on my glasses;
It's becoming, hard to see.
Sprinting to the finish, the challenge is now done:
(I can't believe some people, actually
Run like this for fun).
With rainstorm #1, I have finished my first mile:
Just 25 more downpours, for
A marathon, run my own style.
