The Mail
Times are quickly changing: The slower pace does fade.
Keeping up with needed speed;
Concessions, most have made.
When e-mail tries to hasten me, pressing my life FASTER:
I'm grateful, for a S-L-O-W-E-R service;
Thanks to...each postmaster?
Speed is not important, for most things I mail.
I'm satisfied with service here;
Delivery by snail.
It cannot be coincidence, but marketing, most clever;
The book of stamps, I bought today,
Is clearly marked, "FOREVER."
"FOREVER," one stamp will supply, the postage necessary:
"FOREVER," also may describe,
The time, involved to carry.
