Kyle and her husband moved to Brookfield in 1986. She became active in local politics and started blogging in 2004. Just heard this on WISN radio, Michael Steele was elected the new RNC Chairman: GOP elects first African American chairman, Steele of Maryland.
That news, along with the House Repulicans' rejection of the "stimulus" package gives a conservative like me a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Although Blackwell was considered the more conservative, Steele is said to be able to explain complicated concepts in simple, easy to understand way. (Something that was very lacking with say, a John McCain.)
