The Great Debate 2

The Great Debate 2 will not go down in history as the model for presidential debates.

It will continue the same old rhetoric that we have heard for months and months from the two candidates who are standing steadfast in their positions on the issues of the day.

There is too much room for the candidates to repeat and repeat again the same campaign speeches they have memorized to the word.

They both have a plan without substance and a program without funding. They both need to practice how to say what they should already know.

They both ignore crime, drugs and the penal system. They both ignore the sometimes posed issue of term limits. They both ignore military waste and the need to have a military service program that will protect our homeland.

And most of all they seem to accept the astronomical spending of money to get elected instead of using those funds for a better purpose.

It is obvious that we need to have another point of view to vote for to give the independent thinking citizens a real chance to be heard.

Editors Note: Commander in Chief is the most powerful position in the world. Do we commit our resources to defend our country and the peace, or do we mingle into the problems of the world ?
