I was 20 minutes into a great post when this incredibly stupid blogging software dumped all my hard work! Here's the quick summary.
1) Yes, the tornado sirens will stay.
2) Of course we can afford it. There's boatloads of cash stashed.
3) Aldermen and the Mayor were simply relying on staff when they made the decision.
4) No, it's not a flip flop. This is what the media does - they bring issues to the surface and allow voters to provide influence in a decision.
I had been so clever! But you still get what you needed in this cut-to-the-chase version.
