Spring fever is here. It is baseball time again. the Brewers are in Arizona training for another season in a run to the play-offs. There is every reason to believe they will be will be contenders.
The pitching staff returns with 5 starting pitchers who are proven winners.
The relief pitching is much deeper than before and will be an important factor.
The manager is going into his second year with more confidence.
The outfield of Braun, Gomez/morgan and Hart is very strong on defense and solid on offense.
The addition of Aoki means more runs and more speed.
The infield will be much better on defense at all positions, because: Ramirez is better than McGee; Gonzales is better than Betencourt; Weeks is more healthy; either Gamel or Hart will be better than Fielder.
The leader board will be runs scored instead of home runs hit.
The Catchers need to do better in throwing to second base. Maybe there will be a late inning catcher for that job in close games.
The competion will be keen with some minor league players on the prowl to get a roster spot.
Bring on the Cubs !
