No Shire, but a mosque is on the next Plan Commission schedule
The email just came with the Plan Commission schedule for Monday, February 13th. Once again, the anticipated expansion of The Shire subdivision is no where to be found.
There is a mosque is proposed at 16650 and 16730 Pheasant Drive. That's off Calhoun by the train tracks. Ever had to pick up a lunch box at the school bus lot? Then you'll know the general location.
A mosque has been in the works for years. I think this is the third proposed location in the county. It's not a bad spot, if you ask me.
I will warn you, darn it, be good if you leave a comment on this one. Religious bigotry absolutely will not be tolerated. It may take me a while to get to any crummy comments, but I will toss them if I find them.
