Dick Steinberg has resided in the city of Brookfield for 35 years. He served 34 years as municipal judge and has been an attorney for 50 years. He enjoys tennis, golf, biking and creative writing, which includes legal issues, sports, government and people.

Yes, February is a special month.
1. February 12 is the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln is the historical icon of American history. His wisdom and decisions are precious.
2. February 14 is Valentine's Day. There has been increasing popularity about the real meaning of this , a day of celebration with those we love.
3. February 20 is Presidents' Day, in honor of all our American Presidents. It is a national holiday, a day off for some, and a day to remember for some.
4. February 22 is the birthday of President/General George Washington. President Washington is know as the Father of our nation, the 1st President of the USA.
For these dates there will be celebrations, parades, gatherings of the faithful, acts of charity, special events and the annual review of our wonderful history as a nation and as people.
