SPORTS IN SHORT
SPORTS IN SHORT ON 1/11/12
GREEN BAY PACKERS: big, big game Sunday against NY Giants. on a positive note the pack will have all the big guns back and ready to go. the Giants have Manning 3 at QB who has the ability to throw an errant pass when rushed. with home field advantage this should be a win going away.
Score: GB 30 / NY 14
BREWERS: time is running out for Prince to be happy with his new location. so why not just stay here. a 3 year deal with options would make sense. Is Bud Selig signing an extension to work out a fair deal for Ryan Braun ? why a japanese outfielder when we have several in the farm system who are cheaper and maybe better?
MARQUETTE: not that good without a big center. good hustle on offense but a slower pace on defense. no tournament this year.
WISCONSIN: Bo Ryan is having a down year and will not see a tournament this year either. Taylor cannot carry the load.
BUCKS: Can they make up the loss of Bogut for a few games ? it will be hard to do. Bogut is the centerpiece of the team. he makes Jennings better. if a .500 record makes the playoffs it may happen but who will attend ?
Question of the Day: where do the owners of sports teams get all the money to pay these players?
(show me the money!)
