Trader Joe's FINALLY slated for Brookfield

Happy Dance! I love Aldi's. I love, love, love Trader Joe's. And it's official. On-the-recent-addendum-to-the-Plan-Commission-meeting-next-Monday-night official. WooHoo!

Another Bankruptcy for Capitol Heights

The Business Journal is reporting the developer of the office/retail building at Capitol Heights is now filing bankruptcy and Anchor Bank is owed money. Capitol Heights was a disaster from the beginning. Surely the Common Council will learn that extra density does not create a better community.

There's another vote they will soon face with a similar decision. They've all been there long enough to know better. Will they admit it? Probably not. It's always someone else's fault. Just watch.
