7th District Applicants for Alderman Sought by City of Brookfield
The City of Brookfield website announces that 7th District applicants for Alderman to fill a vacancy are being sought.Details are given on the official city website.
The former Alderman resigned to..... "possibly serve in a higher capacity".
The 7th aldermanic district covers the area between Blue Mound Road and Greenfield Avenue, from 124th Street West to Moorland Road plus another area around I 94.
Letters of interest and resumes are due at city hall by September 2.
The appointment process is available at city hall or on the city website.
The newly appointed alderman would serve until next spring and then stand for election to a 4 year term.
The position is part-time and the salary is about $10,000 annual with any fringe benefits allowed under law.
