Brewer Pitching A+
Yes, Brewer pitching is now A+. that means perfect and you cannot expect them to continue to be perfect but you can now project a pitching staff that early season visions were made of.
During the off season two key trades quickly made the Brewers a better team. the payoff is now coming to fruition. April sceptics were already critical about the value of the newly tooled pitching staff. spring training woes and nagging injuries hampered the pitcing staff, both starters and relievers.
But now the truth is here. in order for a pitcher to have control of the game he cannot give away base runners by bases on balls/walks. he must throw strikes and stay ahead of the hitters. instead of last years 4, 5 or 6 walks a game our hurlers now limit that from zero to 2 walks a game, be it 6, 7 or more innings.
Baseball is truly a team game and all players must contribute either when at bat or on the field.
Taking extra bases, bunting, running out infield grounders and taking calculated risks make winners.
This is baseball 101 for baseball players and educated fans.
No need to name the players that count. they all do.
