Now...The Truth
I have been a citizen of Brookfield for 24 years and a member of the Brookfield Common Council for eight years, including two years as president. Many blogs in the past have contained false and distorting info about public affairs. I will provide truthful information and maintain an influence on city policy.
I'M NOT DEAD!
How's that for an exciting headline! I read the comments from the past several months and was encouraged by CarpieD, Santa's Elf, and Scott. I saw Scott last evening a Dale Kooyenga's political rally at Mayor Ponto's house. Dan Suttton, Bill Carnell, I have not gone away and will be around forever!
Nail Bender. You must be a real tough guy. Never a constructive comment but always a put-down.

Advice for Jim Sullivan. Why me? I've been a non-partisan political junkie since my college days and wouldn't have it any other way. I took an oath of political celibacy years ago. Since last year, my calendar has been more crowded than ever. I have joined Kiwanis and have been involved in their charitable projects. I also volunteer occasionally for Elmbrook Humane Society. My wife and I are currently providing a foster home for homeless Golden Retrievers and finding permanent homes for them. Saturday Sept. is Wag Fest for Elmbrook Humane Soc. Please attend or make a contribution.
Next week, Sept 17-19 is the Hidden River Art Festival at the Wilson Art Center. I volunteered last year and was amazed at the Wisconsin talent.. Have I made my case thatt I'm not dead.
Very soon I will have some comments on high speed rail, a posible change in state funding for local schools. You won't like it! Also, I'll have plenty to say if the City tries to cut the Public Library budget again when more people are using it as a resource to help them in their job search. That' enough for starters.
