Homeowners in the Liberty Highlands subdivision are worried that removing trees that could interfere with utility lines at some point could be a blow to property values.(2)
The Elmbrook School Board changed course and decided to not remove the light poles at Brookfield East, which means the Spartans will be able to play their home football games as regularly scheduled.
It's still a long way from being decided, but closing a school is one option the Elmbrook School Board will consider as it explores the best way to eliminate a $15 million budget shortfall over the next five years.(2)
